The Engineering Tradesperson (Electrician) is responsible for undertaking and delivering effective client focused building and asset maintenance services that comply with Queensland Health Policies, including building and infrastructure policy. Maintain Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service assets, including but not limited to electrical systems and equipment and a range of plant and equipment.
The Building Engineering and Maintenance Service (BEMS) is a Sunshine Coast and Hospital and Health Service-wide service covering buildings, grounds, plant and equipment including medical devices.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensure safe working practices are adopted at all times and that protective clothing and equipment provided are used as recommended.
- Repair of Hospital equipment.
- Maintenance of electrical switchboards and associated circuitry, hard wired installations and portable appliances.
- Maintenance of sanitising, sterilising and washing equipment.
Remuneration value up to $103,065 p.a., comprising salary $90,332 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HBEA6).
