The position is based in Brisbane, and the successful candidate will have the option to work from home under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement which suits the team.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Provide contemporary records management advice and guidance to business units in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, standards and guidelines.
- Consult with business areas to identify records management inefficiencies and/or non-compliance, and develop and implement solutions that will improve compliance and business performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and analyse key records management issues with the aim of developing client solutions.
- Contribute to the active monitoring of records management compliance and performance within the agency through audit tools, health checks, and maturity assessments.

Candidate Attributes
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Information or Records Management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Information/Records/Knowledge management).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and workshops and to influence and shape outcomes.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and define difficult system or process issues, engaging relevant stakeholder input to deliver effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using Content Manager with a focus on disposal activities and maintenance of business classification schemes.
- Proficiency in use of M365 products and understanding of records governance requirements for records managed in this environment.
- Ability to utilise time efficiently by prioritising a broad range of tasks and focusing on key issues.
