About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence based mental health services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers (and their carers) of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service Acute Response Team (CYMHS-ART) who experience a mental health crisis.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver competent mental health services to consumers with complex mental health, alcohol and other drug treatment needs, based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
- Provide integration and co-ordination between different aspects of the service in order to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and highly responsive CYMHS service to the public.
- Participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service that continually improve consumer care and enhance the delivery of services within a multidisciplinary team and the service.
