Your opportunity:
- To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from the date of appointment until the 1st February 2026 with the possibility of extension.
About the Paediatric Department at Bundaberg Hospital
The Paediatric Unit at Bundaberg Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for children and adolescents across the Wide Bay region. The unit includes:

A 14-bed general paediatric ward
-
A Level 4 Special Care Nursery providing care for neonates from 32 weeks' gestation

A busy outpatient service with general and sub-specialty paediatric clinics

A paediatric consultation service supporting the Emergency Department and other inpatient units

Active participation in the statewide Queensland Paediatric Telehealth Network
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $14,614 per month, comprising salary between $9933.80 - $11,517 per month, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4-L9) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., until the 1st February 2026 with the possibility of extension)(Applications will remain current for 12 months).
