About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide a high standard of administrative assist the Mental Health Act Administrator Delegate in the administrative functions of the Mental Health Act 2016 for Metro North Mental Health Service, The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) Authorised Mental Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- In collaboration with the Mental Health Act Delegate and Health Information Manager, ensure that accurate and secure client records, systems and registers are completed, maintained and stored, in accordance with the Mental Health Act 2016 and Chief Psychiatrist policies and assist in quality assurance improvement activities in relation to the storage and ongoing management of consumer information, both in paper and electronic formats.
- Provide medical transcription services, including letters to clients to assist in the provision of timely reports to Metro North Mental Health staff.
- Ensure all written notices where required under the Mental Health Act 2016 are distributed and recorded to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
