The Mental Health Review Tribunal (Tribunal) is seeking applications for Community Member positions anticipated to commence from February 2026.
A person eligible for appointment as a Community Member of the Tribunal must be:
- A person who is not a lawyer or a doctor but has other qualifications and experience that are relevant to exercising the Tribunal's jurisdiction.
In this round of Member appointments, the Tribunal is looking to identify suitable candidates who reside in the greater Brisbane region. This incorporates Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redland and Logan local government regions.
People from a diverse range of backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
People with lived experience of mental health are also encouraged to apply.
