Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) provides recovery-focused, person-centred care through inpatient, hospital-based, and community services across all age groups. Join a passionate team where your advanced clinical skills will directly shape outcomes for those experiencing complex mental health needs.In this role, you will:
- Deliver expert mental health nursing care and assessment within a community-based multidisciplinary team.
- Lead and coordinate care for consumers with complex and acute mental health presentations.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to other nursing staff.
- Drive safety and quality improvements aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
About you:
We're looking for someone who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of consumers by providing recovery-focused, evidence-based mental health nursing care.
You will bring:
- Current registration with the NMBA as a Registered Nurse, with recent experience in mental health nursing.
- Advanced clinical assessment, care planning, and critical thinking skills.
- A commitment to education, professional development, and continuous quality improvement.
- Ability to provide leadership, delegate effectively, and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
