Lowmead State School is seeking an aspiring and capable leader to take on the role of Principal, commencing 7 October 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a values-driven educator ready to lead in a small school setting.

With just 12 students across Prep to Year 6, and a State Delivered Kindergarten program, Lowmead offers a unique opportunity to build strong relationships and lead with impact. We are a community that celebrates individual growth and lives our motto: Soaring High.

About the Role

As the Principal, you will lead a multi-age primary setting with a State Delivered Kindergarten program.

  • This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on teaching, staff capability building, and community engagement.
  • With 12 students, maintaining an excellent student-to-teacher ratio of 1:5, you will work closely with staff and families to create a safe, inclusive, and high-expectation learning environment that supports every child to succeed.
