As the Assistant Systems Management Officer you will provide high level support for the administration of the Prescribed Infringement Notices (PINs) system that supports the issuing of PINS authorised under public health legislation. This includes verification, managing and tracking the payment of these fines. This includes liaising with other government agencies such as the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER). You will provide administrative support for prosecutions under public health legislation. This includes liaising with public health units, legal litigation team and legal panel firms and the administrative tracking of legal requests, briefs of evidence and invoices and payments for prosecutions. Additionally, you will support business change initiatives to assist in the continuous improvement of health protection and regulatory systems.

Role fit:

  • Demonstrated ability in use of large integrated information systems together with a sound knowledge of system processing functions across numerous system modules.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, policy and procedures applicable to regulatory systems management in a large complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate complex system processing issues in order to resolve them within very short time frames.
