The Site Manager will have the overall responsibility for the management of Sentence & Case Management Services staff at a given correctional location. They oversee all sentence and case management functions including the assessment and reporting of risk as it relates to case management functions, as well as classification and placement decisions, lawful detention and capacity utilisation.

The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experience against these essential role requirements of the Team leader leadership stream:
- Leadership of a multidisciplinary team with the ability to develop and monitor performance and guide staff through change
- Proven experience in the human services field including the interpretation and application of legislation, policy and procedures in an operational environment
- High level knowledge of contemporary evidence-based offender management and behavioural change practices with a strong commitment to protecting community safety
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal) with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander issues
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with peers, team members, internal and external stakeholders
