  • Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
  • On-call and shift allowances (if applicable)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity

This position delivers high-level clinical services to stroke patients within the Acute Stroke Unit and associated areas. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the role aims to optimise psychosocial outcomes for patients, families, and carers, and to ensure effective utilisation of healthcare services.

Requirements:

  • The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
