Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse on Lagoon Ward, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in managing complex patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Your role is pivotal in ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care, while supporting and guiding the multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct, comprehensive nursing care and clinical leadership, ensuring adherence to professional standards and individualised patient care plans.
- Coordinating and supervising nursing staff and students, promoting best practices and a collaborative team environment.
- Leading quality improvement activities, incident management, and resource coordination to optimize service delivery and patient safety.

We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
