Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse on Lagoon Ward, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in managing complex patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Your role is pivotal in ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care, while supporting and guiding the multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct, comprehensive nursing care and clinical leadership, ensuring adherence to professional standards and individualised patient care plans.
• Coordinating and supervising nursing staff and students, promoting best practices and a collaborative team environment.
• Leading quality improvement activities, incident management, and resource coordination to optimize service delivery and patient safety.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
