We’re excited to welcome a Psychologist to our Acute Care Team, working within our Mental Health and Specialised Services. Deliver, psychology clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). The Mental Health and Specialised Services Acute Care Team (ACT) provides specialist mental health triage, comprehensive mental health assessments and provide care planning with consumers and their families in the community setting seven (7) days per week from 8 am until 10pm.

We're excited to welcome a Psychologist to our Acute Care Team, working within our Mental Health and Specialised Services.
Deliver, psychology clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
The Mental Health and Specialised Services Acute Care Team (ACT) provides specialist mental health triage, comprehensive mental health assessments and provide care planning with consumers and their families in the community setting seven (7) days per week from 8 am until 10pm.
Psychology clinicians within allied health work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical functions and facilities within Acute Care Team as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
- Commit to ongoing professional, service and individual development through participation in activities including professional development activities, professional supervision, supervision of students or clinical assistants, research activities.
- Work cooperatively and effectively through active participation in multidisciplinary teams and with patients/clients, their families, carers and other relevant stakeholders to provide high quality patient care and positively influence culture.
- Adhere to relevant expectations outlined in the SCHHS and Allied Health Governance Framework documents and Business Rules to ensure that best patient outcomes are achieved in a transparent, ethical and accountable manner.
Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $79 501 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
