You are invited to join a dynamic team with Medical Imaging Service, Allied Health Services as Sonographer. In this role you will work with a small, dynamic team delivering contemporary imaging services across multiple sites within the Cassowary Hub of Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS). We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team, providing essential services such as O&G, General, Paediatric, Musculoskeletal and Vascular.

About your role:
- Apply independent professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence, with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Apply professional judgement to the review and prioritisation of referrals in accordance with clinical need to facilitate appropriate and timely delivery of service.
- Provide Sonographer findings to Radiologists for reporting and viewing by stakeholders within the Cairns and Hinterland Health Services District.
