Senior Executive Assistant

We're seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Executive Assistant to provide exceptional, confidential support to our Chief Customer and Strategy Officer and the broader Customer and Strategy division. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure seamless day-to-day operations through high-level executive and administrative support, enabling strategic priorities to be delivered with impact. You'll be working closely with stakeholders across the Customer and Strategy division as well as the wider QBCC which will require excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism. The successful candidate will have the option to engage in a work from home arrangement that suits the division under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement.

 

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the daily business of the Senior Executive by regularly reviewing diary, meeting, travel demands and budgets and identifying possible issues which may impact on the business and strategic activities of the Senior Executive.
  • Support division Directors and Executive Officer with administrative requirements as needed.
  • Analyse enquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders, determine and take appropriate action on behalf of the Senior Executive, including redirection of enquiries to appropriate personnel.

Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships by having sound interpersonal and negotiation skills, including a capacity to resolve issues and manage relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders in specific or inflexible timeframes; and the ability to manage the flow of people and business in a high pressure environment. Ability to develop correspondence as required.
  5. Committed to personal development and continuous self-improvement, and welcome opportunities to improve processes and procedures where possible.
