The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.

The position will provide advanced level pharmaceutical services to the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• As the Pharmacist Advanced, Team Leader you will lead, deliver, manage, and develop a specialised Cancer Care pharmacy service and consultancy services across multiple sites including the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Nambour General Hospital and Gympie General Hospital.
• Apply professional judgement and evidence-based practice to complex, critical, discipline specific and multidisciplinary clinical decisions within the Oncology/Haematology Service.
• As a member of the multidisciplinary team within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service provide advanced-level clinical services throughout the patient journey, with both inpatient and outpatient care.

Remuneration value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991- $151,289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5).
