About the role:
The Clinical Director of Medicine Rockhampton will be a leader to deliver great care for Central Queenslanders and will influence the delivery of services across CQ (Central Queensland) Health. They will lead, inspire, and foster excellence in clinical outcomes, scholarship, and staff development.
The Clinical Director of Medicine Rockhampton is responsible for staff across multiple streams including the education and supervision of trainees, students, and staff.
About you:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
- Candidates with an additional sub-specialty or interest in a sub-specialty are encouraged to apply.
- Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $573,972 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25-L27)
- A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a. (L18-L24)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
