This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a position in an organisation that provides legal services to vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders. The Legal Services System (LSS) project will focus on the replacement of Legal Aid Queensland’s (LAQ’s) core business system, LAQ Office. As the Project Officer (LSS Project), you will assist with reporting, scheduling and governance activities to support the LSS project.

About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a position in an organisation that provides legal services to vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders. The Legal Services System (LSS) project will focus on the replacement of Legal Aid Queensland's (LAQ's) core business systems, LAQ Office. As the Project Officer (LSS Project), you will assist with reporting, scheduling and governance activities to support the LSS project.
In this role you will:
- Support the Project Director with project coordination and administrative activities to contribute to the successful delivery of the LSS project.
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and implementing and monitoring project plans.
- Maintain and update LSS project schedule, data sets and registers.
- Coordinate reporting inputs from the Project Director and consolidate for reporting.
- Respond to enquiries and provide training for business users relating to the LSS.
- Support the LSS Project reporting function.
