About the Role

In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.

You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.

  • Collaborate with CHQ Leadership and other key stakeholders to promote a culture of person-centred care and continuous quality improvement.
  • Lead the implementation of organisation-wide quality assurance mechanisms and provide expert guidance and high-level support to CHQ Leadership and key stakeholders, with the aim of enabling CHQ to meet or exceed the requirements of the NSQHS Comprehensive Care Standard and the Planetree International Person-Centred Care Certification which are specific to the development
