Campus Support Services are searching for a Campus Services Coordinator to join their team. In this role you will co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of support services for Coronial & Public Health Sciences (CPHS) campus located at Coopers Plains. This includes, but not limited to, administration support with managing the day-to-day operations across the CPHS campus, coordinating cleaning, grounds and garden maintenance, contractor performance, overseeing security access card allocation, Fire and Emergency Program compliancy and assistance with facilities related requests and record-keeping.

What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage the delivery of contracted services, for campus support services, including scheduled, periodic reporting on contract performance, ensuring contractor performance against service level agreements to ensure quality standards and KPI targets are delivered, under the provision of cost-effective processes and strategies to improve delivery of services.
  • Have knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of security functions within government, including identification Card Web Systems, electronic Security access cards and Door key control data systems.
  • Manage the administration of projects, including maintaining filing systems for the efficient and effective retrieval of material, coordinating and collating reports, drafting correspondence and briefs and business case and basic reports.

About you

We are searching for someone who has: 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge and an understanding of relevant legislation, standards, policies, acts and regulations and how they are applied in an operational environment, including a high-level understanding of security, grounds maintenance, cleaning services and contracts.
  • A strong ability to build client relationships and provide excellent services, demonstrated by high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and to handle sensitive issues sympathetically and effectively.
  • Understanding of contract management in relation to facilities, including cleaning, grounds maintenance, etc with the ability to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills in demonstrating a hands-on, solution-orientated approach to addressing issues that arise on a multidisciplinary campus, with competing demands and deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge and experience with finance (SAP) systems including processing and reporting.
  • Capacity to provide a high level of client service, including the ability to manage customer feedback in a professional manner.
