About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide expert strategic and operational leadership and management of the Centre for Medical Officer Recruitment and Education (CMORE) to ensure delivery of a client focussed specialist service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide authoritative, expert and timely advice and/or reports to relevant stakeholders across the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Metro North (MN) on all matters pertaining to medical workforce and education, including but not limited to, workforce planning, recruitment, rostering, allocations, professional development and Awards, Agreements, industrial instruments, legislation etc.
- Liaise effectively with internal and/or external stakeholders to promote a healthy workplace culture.
- Responsible for all aspects of CMORE service delivery and provide strong leadership and strategic direction that incorporates best practice and benchmarking, with consideration of local and state-wide priorities.
- Contribute to the Medical Services Operational Plan from the perspective of medical workforce and medical education.
- Ensure all aspects of operational management of CMORE are undertaken, including staff development, performance appraisal and other general staff management issues.
