An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Casual Pool team at Gympie Hospital, part of Sunshine Coast Health. In this role, you will deliver person-centred, evidence-based care across a variety of acute and specialty areas, including Emergency, Acute Services, Women’s Health, Renal, Chemotherapy, Ambulatory Care, and Theatre. Located within the Sunshine Coast region, Gympie offers a welcoming community, affordable living, and easy access to both the stunning coast and hinterland. Key Responsibilities include:

Deliver person-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, in accordance with legislation, policy, and professional standards.

Assist in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to achieve patient outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, carers, and the healthcare team.

Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities to enhance care delivery and maintain competence.
Salary rates: $51.33 - $65.84 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
