This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Physiotherapy employment opportunities.
Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for future positions. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months.
About the work unit / facility
The Townsville University Hospital Physiotherapy Department, sits within the Allied Health Services Division and is directed by a physiotherapist. Services are provided across the continuum of care to all patient groups across inpatient, outpatient and domiciliary settings. The department provides a twenty four hour service through an on-call and weekend roster.

- Salary range: $3030.00 to $4453.50 p.f. full-time or $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. part-time
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Deliver competent physiotherapy clinical services (which includes thorough assessment/examination, diagnosis, individualised and planned interventions, the use of safe and current techniques/ modalities and comprehensive documentation and communication) to achieve and maintain improved functional outcomes for allocated patients in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Possession of a qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
