We're looking for a dynamic AO8 Project Manager to join Critical Minerals Queensland, driving delivery of Queensland's critical minerals sector. Based in Townsville or Brisbane, this permanent, flexible full-time role puts you at the centre of Queensland's future economy. This role is pivotal to the delivery of the Queensland Critical Minerals Strategy. 
 
In this high-impact role, you'll lead the delivery of strategic initiatives - working at the intersection of government, industry, and community to shape growth of the critical minerals sector. You'll provide expert policy advice, manage complex projects, and develop fit-for-purpose operational frameworks that drive investment, enable innovation, and create long term regional jobs. Key responsibilities include formulating strategies and work priorities, engaging stakeholders on initiative delivery, contributing to Cabinet and policy briefings, representing the department at industry events, and overseeing project reporting and governance. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and proven experience delivering and managing multiple projects and policy processes ideally within government, infrastructure, or resource sectors. An understanding of natural resources or minerals policy is highly regarded, along with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to public value and continuous improvement.
