About the work unit / facility

The Townsville Research Education, Support and Administration (TRESA) unit within Corporate Services leads research governance and strategic development across Townsville HHS. The unit supports high-quality research aligned with national and international standards, ensuring compliance and fostering innovation.

Competitive salary and benefits

Remuneration is $5784.20–$6120.40 per fortnight (AO8).

About your opportunity

Lead research governance and strategic development across Townsville HHS. Provide expert advice, manage research compliance, and support high-quality research aligned with national standards.

This is a permanent full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in research governance and policy development
  • High-level leadership and team management skills
  • Expert knowledge of national research standards and legislation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and data reporting
