Project Officer - Strategy and Transformation
South Brisbane
The Strategy and Transformation team are responsible for integrating strategies, plans, and frameworks, and reporting upon associated indicators that drive impact across Children’s Health Queensland. The Project Officer will work in partnership with the team to coordinate and support prioritised organisational planning activities and projects. This may include assisting in the project planning, coordination, engagement and performance reporting of enterprise strategies and statewide plans and their associated initiatives.

About the Team
The Strategy and Transformation Division is a dynamic support function that leads critical strategic and transformation initiatives across the HHS and broader statewide paediatric network. About the Role
Project planning and coordination
- Work with the Directors Strategy and Transformation and designated Portfolio and Program leads to facilitate, support, and enhance Strategic Portfolio Management
- Assist in the development and execution of project plans
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements
- Coordinate project activities such as meeting arrangements, stakeholder mapping and action registers
- Manage multiple projects and tasks with guidance.
Project monitoring and evaluation
- Support the preparation and publication of visually engaging reports, briefings, submissions and portfolio management related correspondence
- Regularly track and report on project, program or portfolio milestones, risk and performance indicators
- Strong organisational skills to maintain oversight and coordination of deliverables.
Data analysis and reporting
- Supports the collection and integration of data, review of literature, and engagement with stakeholders
- With guidance and support, produce qualitative and quantitative data in both database and spreadsheet applications, specifically using Microsoft Excel
- In partnership with the team, design and build a core data repository that tracks and monitors portfolios, programs, and project deliverables in alignment with the Integrated Strategy and Planning Framework.
Stakeholder engagement
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, solicit feedback, and ensure their active involvement throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate consultation processes and designated planning and data analysis activities.
