- Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum.
- Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum.
- Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance of $431.22 p.f.
- Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.
- Transfer and appointment expenses may be negotiated.

About the role
Homeless Health Outreach Team (HHOT) provides support to individuals with mental health diagnosis who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless within the North West HHS region. The service adopts an assertive outreach approach to deliver thorough assessments, coordination, and clinical interventions tailored for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licence. Please refer to Role Description for further information regarding the qualifications, registration and membership.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Successful applicant requires an extensive clinical experience prior to appointment.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
