Gladstone’s Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic are seeking a proactive Administration Officer to join their team of healthcare professionals, working 38 hours per fortnight! Could this be you?
The role involves delivering efficient, confidential administrative support to the practice manager, clinical staff, and key professionals at the Nurse Led Clinic. While the main focus is on client registration and appointment scheduling, the role also requires developing skills across various administrative tasks to support the clinic’s operations. The Nurse Led Clinic offers immediate care interventions and operates seven days a week to serve the community’s urgent health needs.
This role is required to work on a rotating roster including shift work and weekends.

About us:
The nurse-led walk-in clinic will provide assessment, treatment and advice to adults and children (aged over 2 years) for non-life-threatening injuries and illness, as well as trauma-informed, women-focused services, 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.
The service model aims to improve long-term health outcomes and improved access to care in the community, reducing demand on hospitals. Services will be provided free of charge.
About the role:
To provide an efficient and effective client focused administrative service, undertaking a range of duties which provide effective and confidential administration support to practice manager, clinical staff and other key professionals at the Nurse Led Clinic.
The Nurse Led Clinic provides intervention to address immediate care needs of our community. Operating seven days a week.
About you:
- Whilst not mandatory, experience working within a health care setting will be well regarded.
- Collaborates effectively, fosters talent development, values diversity, and builds strong teams to optimise resources for delivering healthcare services.
- Maintains a patient- and client-focused approach, demonstrates self-awareness, understands the impact of behaviour on others, navigates ambiguity and complexity, and shows resilience in delivering patient care or supporting healthcare services.

What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $97,656 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
