Office of the Regional Executive Director; Region – Brisbane and Moreton Bay; Service Delivery – Child and Family; South Brisbane
Business Services Team is responsible for undertaking and coordinating the business support functions for the region. The team provides quality and timely support, reporting and advice around establishment and human resource management, budget and financial operations, facilities, accommodation and telecommunication management, and governance matters.
The purpose of this position is to provide high quality executive and administrative support services to the Office of the Regional Executive Director.

Your Responsibilities:
As an Executive Assistant you will:
- Maintain the Senior Management diaries, including the organisation of meetings, appointments, conferences, seminars, accommodation and travel arrangements. You will also be required to travel locally with the Executive Leadership Team.
- Contribute to the effective administration of the Business & Executive Support Unit including the maintenance of various registers while complying with statutory and departmental requirements. Use word processing and spread sheeting database software packages (including manipulating data in Excel and SAP). Assist with managing incoming calls that may include complaints.
- Perform and monitor purchasing of goods and services, assets and attractive items through the use of a Corporate Card, Purchase Orders and goods receipt, to ensure expenditure is within departmental internal procedures, business group guidelines and financial delegations for Department of Children, Youth Justice & Multicultural Affairs
- Liaise, consult and maintain effective relationships with team members, internal and external clients and other stakeholders.
- Participate in and contribute to team projects and activities and assist team members to undertake projects and activities.
