Your opportunity: 

This role will be part of the Environmental Health team within Public Health Unit with the enforcement of the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998, Medicines and Poisons Act 2019 and related national legislation. The Officer will be expected to assist with conducting routine compliance inspections, undertake evidence gathering during targeted enforcement and where necessary prepare briefs of evidence and appear in court hearings.

Two Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 27th June 2027

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $125,735 p.a., comprising salary between $103,423 - $110.201 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (TO4) (Two Temporary Full Time Positions, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 27th June 2027) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
