Make a significant contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of the local communities within the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (HHS) and become a valued member of a dynamic and commited rural health care team that provides quality and culturally appropriate medical services.

The Rural Generalist team includes medical officers with additional skills in Anaesthetics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Internal Medicine, Emergency care and Indigenous Health. Cooktown is a training hub for medical, nursing and allied health students, junior doctors and GP Registrars.

  • Base salary comprising between $182,106 - $266,677 p.a – plus additional benefits – refer to Job Description
