This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to join the Legal Services Systems (LSS) Project team. The LSS project will focus on the replacement of Legal Aid Queensland’s core business system. As the Change Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of the change and communication strategy for the LSS Project, provide advice and guidance to senior management and the project board, and undertake OCM project activities and planning.

About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a position in an organisation that provides legal services to vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders.

As Change Manager (LSS Project), you will work with internal and external stakeholders and the LSS project team to lead and deliver project organisational change activities related to the significant project to replace Legal Aid Queensland's core business system LAQ Office.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the change and communication strategy for the LSS Project.
  • Lead a team of Change Analysts and Trainers to design and deliver effective change management for the LSS Project.
  • Provide advice and guidance to senior management and the project board on the application of organisational change management (OCM) principals, processes, and tools for the LSS Project.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance the level of OCM awareness and skill across the LSS Project team.
  • Develop and deliver structured training sessions for change management.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships and networks with key stakeholders to promote the change benefits of the LSS Project.
  • Support the recruitment of employees within the LSS project team.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and change implementation metrics including business readiness targets, business engagement activity, training design and deployment activities.
  • Directly undertake OCM project activities and planning.
