About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide high-quality evidence-based social work / psychology / occupational therapy services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers of Redcliffe Adult Mental Health Team (RAMHT), Metro North Mental Health – Redcliffe Caboolture (MNMH-RC) with severe and complex mental health disorders, their families and carers, and relevant stakeholders. Care is delivered with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed recovery framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver competent-level social work / psychology / occupational therapy clinical services to consumers experiencing complex mental health treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
- Utilise effective communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with consumers and carers; the multidisciplinary team; other Hospital and Health Service, government and non-government support agencies, General Practitioners, and Private Practitioners.
- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in quality and service improvement / research activities that enhance the delivery of clinical services and support achievement of key performance indicators.
