The opportunity
As our Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
• Operate as a business partner within the People and Culture team to deliver technical and strategic human resource advice across a range of areas including the employee lifecycle, workforce management, performance management, employee relations, compliance, conflict resolution, rehabilitation services, recruitment and selection, and learning and development.
• Identify and deliver human resources initiatives in partnership with People and Culture team to build capability that supports people and business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on human resources legislation, policies and procedures that promote compliance, mitigates risk and facilitates best practice outcomes.
• Represent HR at management meetings and internal forums to support workforce planning, operational reporting, and strategic HR discussions.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor, providing coaching and practical solutions to improve workplace relationships, engagement, productivity, and retention.
• Build staff capability and leadership in HR processes, legislative and delegate responsibilities, effective record keeping, and conduct and performance management.
• Support the implementation of strategic workforce, diversity and inclusion initiatives, business operational plans, and continuous improvement projects.
• Foster continuous improvement by maintaining up-to-date HR knowledge, mentoring team members, and driving enhancements to deliver effective HR services, processes, and systems.
• Supervise and mentor operational HR staff to build technical expertise that ensures timely, effective and high-quality service and delivery of HR activities across the business area.
