About us:
Gladstone Hospital provides a range of services to Gladstone and the Banana region. A new emergency department has been built which has doubled the department's current capacity. Our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy will see Gladstone Hospital developed as a centre for emergency care, medical inpatient and day surgery excellence. This will optimise outreach services to deliver care closer to home in the Gladstone and Banana rural communities. In October 2020 Queensland Health acquired the co-located private hospital to expand the service footprint of the Gladstone campus. This newly acquired site will be known as West Wing.
About the role:
The Senior Administration Officer – Medical Services coordinates a high quality and effective administration, sourcing and engagement service for the placement of medical staff at Gladstone Hospital to meet the needs of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, in line with Queensland Health policy.
About you:
- While not mandatory a previous experience of recruitment processes, medical terminology, HR and/or rostering would be highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a dynamic fast-paced changing health care environment and under pressure is desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $114,177 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $45.81 – $50.46 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
