Allied health plays an important role in achieving the objectives set out in our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy. Allied health work closely with medical, nursing, technical and operational colleagues, and community partners to optimise patient recovery and well-being. The allied health workforce is supported to achieve clinical excellence through a commitment to improving quality, creating continuous improvement opportunities and a culture of learning and development.
The Central Highlands Allied Health Service comprises of 7 clinical departments: Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Social Work and Speech Pathology.
About the role:
Contribute to patient care as part of the Allied Health team for Central Highlands by providing clinical support tasks under the direction and supervision of an allied health professional.
About you:
- A relevant qualification (i.e. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent) would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $65,703 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $34.53 - $36.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
