Digital Health Clinical Consultation Service are looking for Medical Director to join their team. The position will play a pivotal role in positioning the HHS as a leader in digital health transformation on a state, national and international level and will drive measurable improvements in clinical safety and quality through the development, implementation and evaluation of digital health systems and practices. This role encompasses the full spectrum of digital health innovation, including virtual care, telehealth, remote monitoring, digital tools, and other emerging technologies that support contemporary and integrated models of care.

About the Role

Strategic Leadership

  • Provide the Chief Clinical Information Officer, Senior Clinical Director and Senior Leadership team within DH&I, as well as other key MSH Executive strategic advice on digital health to develop, define and drive strategic planning regarding the use of digital technologies, capabilities and services to support and promote optimised delivery of healthcare.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the diverse and multidisciplinary teams within DH&I, aligning strategic priorities, business development opportunities and policies and standards with respect to digital health.
  • Provide leadership and strategic input and representation into multiple peak MSH Digital Committees, including (but not limited to) MSH Executive Digital Oversight Committee any relevant MSH Facility Digital Committees.
  • Represent and advocate for MSH and DH&I at health service, state and national governance, oversight committees and key forums.
  • Representation of MSH at external forums, including attendance and presentation at state, national and international conferences and summits.
  • Assist key MSH stakeholders, including HHS Executive Directors, Executive Director Medical Services & Directors of Medical Services, stream and clinical network leads and other key senior leaders to develop and drive strategic plans for the integration of digital technologies and solutions to provide efficiency and value to the delivery of healthcare.
  • Provide leadership in relation to digital health to the broader organisation to help foster a culture that promotes the use of digital capability to enhance efficiency and value at all levels of the health service.
