As the Manager (Risk Advisory), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the department’s enterprise risk management capability. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver strategic and operational risk initiatives that support TMR’s vision and strategic objectives.
In this role, success means leading a confident and capable team, delivering meaningful risk insights to senior leaders, and helping embed a culture where risk is understood, valued, and actively managed across the department.

As a Manager (Risk Advisory), some of your responsibilities will include:
Enterprise Risk Maturity and Capability Development
• Lead the advancement of TMR's enterprise risk framework by aligning it with the department's strategic objectives, strengthening organisational risk capability, and driving continuous improvement in risk management maturity.
Expert Risk Management Advice
• Provide strategic, high-level risk advice to senior leaders, while building capability through training, trend analysis, and promotion of risk-based decision-making.
Risk Monitoring and Reporting
• Lead the development of risk appetite and profiling, deliver actionable reporting to executive stakeholders, and proactively identify emerging risks to strengthen departmental resilience.
Risk Management System (RMS) Administration
• Oversee the effective use and continuous improvement of TMR's Risk Management System to support robust risk processes, reporting, and decision making.
Collaboration and Leadership
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture, mentor staff, chair TMR's Risk Management Reference Group, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders.
