Your new role:
We are seeking passionate Clinical Nurses with paediatric expertise to join our Emergency Department team at Logan Hospital. This role provides the opportunity to deliver advanced clinical care for children and young people while leading and supporting multidisciplinary colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advanced clinical assessment, planning, and coordination of paediatric emergency care.
- Leading and mentoring nursing and multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
- Contributing to education, clinical research, and evidence-based practice within the ED.
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse with a strong paediatric focus who thrives in high-pressure environments and is dedicated to patient-centred care. You bring advanced clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a collaborative spirit.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with paediatric emergency experience highly desirable.
- Advanced clinical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to professional learning, education, and mentoring others.
- Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities to support safe and effective care delivery.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
