About us:

Nutrition and Dietetics services deliver care throughout the hospital departments and outpatient clinics, as well as in community based and rural services. High quality services are provided across the care continuum to client/patient groups across the Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Mount Morgan

business unit. The Nutrition and Dietetics services also: provide education and training placements to undergraduate and post graduate students.

About the role:

The position works within a varied and complex caseload, and when appropriate uses a transdisciplinary service model, while contributing to safe, reliable, and sustainable services for CQ Health.

Clinical practice will be related to the assigned senior caseload but will also remain flexible to ensure the focus of service delivery remains on delivering patient-centred and time-appropriate care. Senior caseloads include the provision of services to acute, sub-acute and out of hospital care for each service area as required.

The position acts as a resource person by leading quality improvement, research, and service development of clinical areas consistent with Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and Queensland Health State-wide initiatives and strategic directions.

About you:

  • The successful applicant must hold a tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution providing eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia and hold Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status.
  • While not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in relevant practice area/s are highly desirable.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
