About the Role
An opportunity exists for an Acting Deputy Principal to lead our team of passionate, highly effective staff.
As an Acting Deputy Principal, you will be a member of the Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and agenda of the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Principal, HOD-C, HOSES, and classroom teachers to plan and implement effective pedagogy and behaviour strategies across the school.
- Mentor new staff, observe lessons, and provide feedback to support professional growth.
- Collaborate with the Principal to create class groupings for the next school year.
- Liaise with families, attend P&C meetings, and coordinate school events to foster community engagement.
- Lead the Mathematics Priority Group, ensuring initiatives align with the school's Strategic Plan.
- Coordinate and timetable NCT, specialist teachers, and playground duty rosters.
- Support the Principal in guiding a highly capable and motivated staff team.
