The Consult Liaison Officer will provide comprehensive, consumer-focused mental health services, including consultation, assessment, intervention, and training. Their role is to facilitate seamless care for consumers by coordinating efforts between Mental Health services, local public hospitals, and the primary health and community sectors.

About us:

The Capricorn Coast Mental Health team is located in Yeppoon.  The service provides specialised mental health services for the population of Yeppoon, Emu Park, Keppel Sands, Byfield and the surrounding areas.  The Adult Community Team provides a service in outpatient and home settings, through a range of community mental health interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referral for adults from the Capricorn Coast area.

About the role:

The Consult Liaison Officer will engage in comprehensive consumer focussed mental health consultation, assessment, intervention and training to ensure seamless care for consumers between Mental Health, local public hospitals, and the primary health and community sector.

About you:

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Registered Nurse

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $13,684 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
