The Strategic Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for the collection, collation, analysis and dissemination of timely intelligence to support the Assistant Commissioner, Ethixal Standards Command and external stakeholders. The role is instrumental in identifying and reporting intelligence related concerns to assist decision making processes and minimise potential risks to the Queensland Police Service.

Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Develop high level strategic intelligence and analytical reports and prepare strategic assessments on the direction of QPS discipline and workplace professionalism related trends, including identification of ‘at risk' individuals or work units, ESC strategies, frameworks and programs.
- Research targeted areas and collate, assess and disseminate data into varying formats through the application of modern data storage and retrieval systems.
- Utilise information systems to create and analyse computer generated reports and data using complementary IT programs and products.
- Enter and/or retrieve data from discipline related, criminal and where necessary, national security operating systems.
- Analyse electronic data on multiple information systems of differing levels of complexity to develop strategic intelligence products through analysis of environmental factors, trends, and patterns.
- Liaise with relevant law enforcement agencies, government, private organisations and other information sources.
- Represent the Unit at internal and inter-agency meetings and liaise with external partners and stakeholders at a high level.
- Provide quality oral and written advice and conduct briefings on a variety of strategic, intelligence, audit, investigative and proactive strategies.
