Lead Clinical Governance and Cultural Transformation in Central Queensland!
We're seeking a Clinical Governance Leader to drive compliance with national standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements — while embedding a just culture and learning organisation mindset across the health service.

- Influence clinicians and staff on the frontline to speak up, reflect, and continuously improve

- Translate insights and lessons learned into actionable improvements across the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and Queensland Health

About the role:
As the Executive Director, Clinical Governance, Quality, and Safety, you will lead the strategy and planning for clinical governance, quality, and safety at CQHHS. You will also be a key contributor to the Executive team and be responsible for driving clinical and consumer engagement initiatives.
About you:
- You have a deep understanding of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other relevant health standards.
- You have demonstrated expertise in leading, implementing, and managing an organisation's external certification and accreditation processes.
- You have a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with executives, health professionals, and government stakeholders.
- You're skilled at balancing daily operational demands with long-term improvement initiatives, especially under resource constraints.
- You have outstanding writing and reporting skills, with a proven ability to create clear, effective communications for a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of $263,731 - $284,962 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $202,404 - $220,983 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
