About the Role
As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting fleet operations across the region, with a strong focus on customer service, as well as health, safety, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include handling daily administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting visitors, managing assets and stocktakes, and assisting with purchasing activities. This position is based in our Mackay office and reports directly to the Business Manager.
Your Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Share responsibility for the daily operations as directed by the Manager including receiving telephone calls and visitors and directing these to appropriate areas, and act as first point of contact between nominated business hours.
- Provide confidential administrative support, information and advice to Directors, Managers and other staff in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, on administrative, human resource and financial issues.
- Arrange and organise appointments, committees, meetings and conferences including catering, materials and information and providing secretariat support and minute taking as required.
- Organise travel, accommodation and business arrangements for staff and clients.
