About us:

Gladstone Hospital is a 79-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, neonatal nursery, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics. Gladstone Hospital has approximately 282 full time equivalent staff delivering services across acute, community and primary care.

About the role:

The Clinical Nurse Facilitator follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe, practice and services and workplaces.

The Clinical Nurse Facilitator provides leadership and contribute to the development of clinical practice by:

  • Planning, developing, facilitating and evaluating evidence based clinical education.
  • Actively engaging in quality activity and research projects and enabling a research culture.
  • Modelling active engagement in professional partnerships/networks across the education/research continuum.

About you:

Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse.

  • A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $2,198 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
