Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse in the Acute Pain Service, you will provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination in the care of patients with complex pain needs. Working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, this role plays a vital part in delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care.
- Deliver advanced clinical nursing care in acute pain management across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Provide clinical leadership, education, and mentorship to nursing and allied health staff.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with anaesthetics, allied health, and specialist teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse with advanced knowledge and passion for pain management.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Advanced clinical expertise in pain management and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide, supervise, and support staff and students.
- Ability to lead service improvements, research, and clinical innovation.
