Your new role:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Pharmacist to join the Princess Alexandra Hospital Pharmacy Department while completing a structured and supported two-year accredited residency program. In this role, you will:
- Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based pharmacy services, including clinical assessment, patient education, therapeutic intervention, and discharge planning.
- Provide clinical education, supervision, and support to students, allied health assistants, and less experienced staff.
- Actively contribute to quality improvement, research, and service development initiatives under the guidance of senior staff.
- Rotate through a variety of pharmacy practice areas to develop broad professional experience and clinical expertise.

You will be an enthusiastic and collaborative professional, committed to advancing your clinical practice while delivering exceptional patient-centred care. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within interprofessional teams and engage patients and carers in care decisions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including participation in the formalised residency program.
- A proactive approach to clinical education, service improvement, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participation in a 7-day roster with shift time between the hours of 7am to 8pm.
