The Product Management team provides guidance, support and advice on product management, enhancement and support of implemented products that are in Business as Usual (BAU) through the provision of experienced business analysis and technical design skills. The Business Analyst will be required to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including the development & delivery team to ensure the solution meets the agreed business requirements.

As the Business Analyst, you will:
- Investigate, define and analyse business requirements (ranging from stakeholder, business, functional, non-functional and implementation requirements) for ICT enabled initiatives, managed activities or projects.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with multi-disciplinary teams to elicit requirements, evaluate processes, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships, collaborate with, consult and influence both business and technical stakeholders to effectively discover, define, validate, prioritise and continuously manage requirements that translate into business benefits.
- Apply appropriate business analysis frameworks and be able to promote and provide advice on use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.
- Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and mentor fellow team members.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability
- Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, business process modelling (BPMN), and understanding process optimization techniques.
- Skill in eliciting and documenting clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and software development, from requirements gathering through to testing and deployment.
- Capability to write technical documentation, user manuals, and other project- related documentation that is clear and understandable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Skills to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among stakeholders with different interests and objectives.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cross- functional teams, and to build consensus around proposed solutions.
Qualifications and conditions
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications required, the following qualifications and certifications or experiences would be highly regarded:
- BABOK Certification or understanding
- Experience in BPMN and UML.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies would be advantageous and highly regarded.
