Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $210,332 to $266,667 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Provide specialist Public Health medical support to the health services and communities in Townsville and tropical north Queensland, through disease monitoring, prevention and control, education and research. Work with multidisciplinary teams to protect the health of the population.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner and as a Medical Specialist in Public Health Medicine
- Maintain currency in public health medicine including fulfilling any specialist College and national registration authority (AHPRA) requirements such as Continuing Professional Development.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Travel: Travel will be required in this position, both within the Townsville HHS and throughout Queensland. This may include travel by small aircraft.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
